We once had a Stake President who said: "If you feed them they will come". Much of what we do has a focus on food. Meetings are better attended when accompanied by a meal and/or dessert. As mothers, we have to decide every day what to make for dinner, and sometimes it's hard to think of anything to make! Sometimes just coming up with a menu is half the battle. As friends and neighbors, we often get together for the sole purpose of exchanging recipes.
When my kids are home, I put forth extra effort to cook and bake. It's how we show our love. I love to try new recipes that I know have been tried and I am confident that they will be good.
I have friends who are great cooks and I love to make their recipes. It inspires me to branch out from my usual boring fare and try new dishes. The purpose of this blog is to provide a way to share recipes and ideas.
